Online Notary Course

The California Secretary of State reviews and approves our Six-Hour and Three-Hour courses of study. Our goal of the online notary education is to provide the most efficient and advanced training for all the notaries public to reduce complaints and avoid lawsuits due to negligence or misconduct by a notary public.

Our approved Six-Hour online course is to teach you the basis of being a Notary Public and prepare you for the exam. The course includes an online practice test you must pass to receive your proof of completion. The exam will also help you to pass the State exam. You can study at your own pace, login and logout at your convenience.

Our approved Three-Hour online course is a refresher training course to review of the basics as well as prepare for the exam. The course also includes an online practice test you must pass to receive your proof of completion.

Upon completion of the course of study, a student will receive a Proof of Completion Certificate. Once you have obtained your proof of completion certificate, you will need to do the followings:

• Register for an exam by contacting CPS HR Consulting; and
• Take with you to the exam site your completed notary public application form with the Proof of Completion certificate and a 2" x 2" color passport photo of yourself (stapled to your application.
